If you watch “Chopped” as much as I do, catch The TODAY show, or even”Iron Chef,” you’re very familiar with Chef Marcus Samuelsson.  He was born in Ethiopia, but raised in Sweden after his mother passed away when he was just 3 years old.  Despite all of that, he has gone on to win numerous culinary awards and operate 4 successful restaurants, the most popular of which is “Red Rooster” in Harlem. 

I really enjoy cooking, and I’ve been feeling like if I could do it all over again I would’ve become a chef.  Not that I’m opposed to a career change, but it would be quite a challenge to be on my feet for 15 hours a day! I need to be 18 for alladat! Ha! In any case, let his success guide you through your week…and remember to eat healthy!
